Dear Kay Beauty Team,

I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to formally raise a concern regarding a product I purchased — Kay Beauty Jet Black Gel Kajal (Onyx) — from a local beauty store on 21st December 2025.

Unfortunately, upon first application, I experienced severe irritation in my eyes, including redness and excessive watering. Due to this reaction, I immediately discontinued using the product.

Following this, I reached out to both the store from where I made the purchase and also contacted Nykaa Retail via email. Despite sharing my experience and concerns, I have not received any support in terms of replacement, exchange, or further resolution. I still have the product unused since that initial application.

I am writing to you directly in the hope that this concern reaches the appropriate team. While I understand that individual reactions may vary, I believe this issue deserves attention from a product quality and customer experience standpoint. It may also be worthwhile to review product sensitivity considerations and strengthen communication or support channels with retail partners, so that such cases are handled more effectively.

At this point, the product remains unused and of no practical value to me.

I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and advise on a suitable resolution. More importantly, I hope my feedback contributes toward improving product safety and customer satisfaction.

Okay product

I got a severe eye infection and still suffering since 20 days after using this particular kajol purchased from an offline store, previously i have used the 299-/ kajol and did not face any eye issues.
Either the chemical formula in this particular product is definetly not suitable for a human eye or you are selling expired products in the offline stores. When I reached out to your support team regarding the chemical testing of the product i received, they denied...which means you already know that this product has chemicals which are harsh for a human eye. Just merely selling a product manufactured outside india in the name of a bollywood actress won't help.

Why doesn't people say about the bad sides of any product for example this product only..i was looking for a good, smudge proof kajal and I came to know about this product and I'm not saying it's tooo badd but it's not good tho like it's claim that it's smudge proof but it's absolutely not I mean the local brands are much better than this kajal and also it doesn't stay for a long time it will starting disappearing within 1 hrs & it's was my first time ordering from kay beauty and doesn't expect this from a celebrity brand..
